The Kansas City Wind Symphony Performs “Of Gods and Men” March 18 at Village Presbyterian

The Kansas City Wind Symphony is celebrating its 20th Anniversary Season! They have already performed three wonderful concerts, but there are still two more opportunities to see them. Admission to all KCWS performances is FREE!

On Sunday, March 18 at 7:00pm, the KCWS will perform their program “Of Gods and Men”, featuring selections from Gustav Holst’s ‘The Planets’, along with other great music by composers such as Morton Lauridsen, John Mackey, and Gary Ziek!

On Sunday, May 6 at 7:00pm, the KCWS will present their final concert of the season “Top of the Pops”. This will feature music by composers John Williams, John Philip Sousa, Roger Cichy, and will also feature guest soloists Chris White on trombone, and Zach Shemon on Saxophone.

All concerts are held at Village Presbyterian Church on Mission Road. We hope to see you there at one or both performances!
