On Saturday, March 5th, the much anticipated Ballet Ball, a fund-raising event presented by the Kansas City Ballet Guild, celebrated Gotta Dance! at the InterContinental Hotel on the Plaza. Guests enjoyed a lively cocktail party with entertainment by Bruce Sorrell, delicious cuisine by Chef Chris Hall, breathtaking decor by Licata’s Flowers, and crowd-pleasing entertainment with CoCo Trio, KOKOMO, The Goodfoot, and the Kansas City Ballet. Ballet Ball Chairman Barbara Storm thanked guests for their support of the Kansas City Ballet and recognized Honorary Chairmen Sue Ann and Dick Fagerberg. Before dancing the night away, Guild President Lauri McNey honored J. E. Dunn Construction Company with the 2011 Pirouette Award for their commitment to the performing arts.
