Lawrence Arts Center Benefit Art Auction: Celebrating Local Art

The Lawrence Arts Center annually hosts a Benefit Art Auction to fund its Exhibitions Program. This year, we are excited to feature Lawrence artist Molly Murphy and over 200 works of art from participating artists who have generously donated their work. In addition, our galleries are open through April 8 for a close-up look at all the artwork available in this year’s auction.

The Benefit Art Auction is one of the most important fundraising events for the Lawrence Arts Center. All proceeds from the auction directly fund our Exhibitions Program and help keep the galleries free and open to the public year-round. At the Lawrence Arts Center, Art is for Everyone is at the core of our mission, and this event helps make that possible!

This year’s auction features pottery, paintings, photography, mixed media and more. We also have a new, unique feature — bid on a custom commission from one of three artists! Online bidding in the silent auction is open until April 8 at 7:15 pm, followed by the live auction at 7:30 pm. Learn more, bid in the silent auction and purchase tickets for the live auction event at one.bidpal.net/artauction2023.

Happy bidding!
