Join us for our annual Raku Night!  Participants will choose a piece of bisqueware to glaze. Our kiln crew will raku fire the pieces while you enjoy live music, food trucks, and free beer from Boulevard and KC Bier Co. Your piece will be ready to take home about an hour after it has been fired.  All proceeds from Raku Night 2023 support the KC Clay Guild mission to promote the appreciation of and participation in ceramic arts through group and individual education programs, public outreach and the creation of a diverse ceramic arts community.

New Chapter includes the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art’s recent acquisitions from the past two years —most on view for the first time. This exhibition showcases the curatorial vision of the museum’s current Executive Director and Chief Curator JoAnne Northrup, who took the helm in 2021 and is leading the museum into the next chapter with a schedule of exciting exhibitions and inspired additions to the museum’s permanent collection.
