The Hanger Gallery and studios are located in the Crossroads art district of Kansas City, Missouri. It is a collaborative space run by artists for artists. They proudly host monthly exhibitions, of local and national artists, opening every First Friday.

The Hanger hosts thirteen studio spaces for creatives to work and expand their practice with 24/7 access.

Amenities
Communal Mac computer, Fiber Wifi, electricity, gas, water, trash pickup, and basic insurance are included in the studio membership. A loading dock for easy loading and unloading, two bathrooms, kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, water cooler, and coffee maker are also accessible to studio mates at The Hanger. The studios include heating and cooling for year-round comfort and are walking distance from popular restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and even a nearby yoga studio.
Public Art Initiative
In addition to its creative spaces The Hanger is proudly embarking on an initiative to enliven the spaces outside it. As a center of an artistic network they aim to build connections with our neighbors to continue to add to one of Kansas City’s fastest growing communities. The Hanger proudly serve as a point of reference for KC-based artists experienced in public projects and hand painted advertisements.
Gallery hours at The Hanger Gallery are Tuesday-Friday 12pm-5pm and open late every First Friday.
