Whim Productions, KC’s LGBTQ+ theater, is putting on a holiday program! But in My Kid’s Christmas Program, by Kevin King, the tinsel’s tangled and the pageant’s off the rails. Forced to relocate to Whim Space after losing their auditorium, the “kids” (played by adults) belt and blunder their way through the Christmas program you remember… but with more sass and emotional baggage.
