A new venture between Starlight Theatre and Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts will provide an opportunity for Kansas City parents and educators to introduce young people to the magic of live musical theater in 2012. Starlight Children’s Theatre will debut Feb. 1 at the Kauffman Center.

Playwright and actor Sean Grennan has a sort of artistic love affair with the American Heartland Theatre. He acted in the role of Adam for the fall 2003 production of The Diaries of Adam and Eve. During the first two months of 2005, he found himself back in Kansas City and on the Heartland stage in Affluenza! He then took to the stage on The Love List during the fall of 2010.

The act of fusion is to merge diverse, distinct, or separate elements into a unified whole while quixotic has the connotation that the word has a loftiness and romance to it and perhaps a little bit of impracticality to it all. These two words form the name of an exciting multimedia performance art group that has a significant fan base in Kansas City.
