A Match Made in Heaven: Katherine Bernhardt x Jeremy Scott

The Nerman Museum is proud to present the first exhibition to explore the shared references that unites Bernhardt’s paintings and Scott’s iconic fashion looks. These two masters from the Midwest are both known for their creative work that engages with themes of consumer and popular culture and irreverent humor. This exhibition, a dynamic extravaganza by two elite artists working in disparate mediums who transform the mundane into the spectacular, will be on view through Aug. 3, 2025.

Ballet Folklórico de México dances their way to Kansas City on Feb 25th!

Founded in 1952 by dancer and choreographer Amalia Hernández, Ballet Folklórico brings together the music, dance and costume of Mexican folklore from pre-Colombian civilizations through the modern era. With its permanent home at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, one of Mexico City’s most historic venues, the company has developed choreography for 40 ballets, composed of 60 folk dancers and musicians who have performed extensively across Mexico and abroad.

Feb. 18, Dereck and Beverly Joubert share photos and stories of 40 years filming wild Africa. March 25, journey to the farthest reaches of our planet with photographer Keith Ladzinski for a look at nature and man. April 8, NASA Engineer Kobie Boykins revisits his work on Mars rovers and the upcoming circumnavigation of Europa. May 20, the first woman to climb all 14 seminal peaks without supplemental oxygen, Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner, visits the Kauffman Center.

Snoopy and The Red Baron is Open at Crown Center!

Snoopy and the Red Baron brings the full story of the World War I Flying Ace to life. This gallery exhibition will delight fans who grew up with the Ace and introduce new audiences to Snoopy’s adventures in the sky. From February 8 through May 4 head to Crown Center Showplace on Level 1 to enjoy this FREE exhibit! Exhibit Hours: Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, Noon to 5 p.m.
