Why should you wantF()REVER to be true?

Perhaps the Podcast Musical., As I Recall F()REVER should come with a warning label. Listening to the faith quest memoir may have you entertained by the music and stories within and yet as the KC producer Bill Mullin hopes, there is more to it than an escape from the noise of the day. You may find it is an escape, not from but
to… a new perspective on your life.

Here’s a fact listeners may recognize: Our life experiences shape us into who we are and have brought us to this place in our lives, yet we don’t take that into account and choose to live day to day. Getting through the day is often enough, or so we tell ourselves. In the meantime we want to put the painful things aside or behind us.

And, sometimes even the happy memories are tinged with a sense of loss. Or sometimes we’re just going through motions in a job or role we wonder about. Mullin has been there.

Here’s another fact: Deep down we know that acknowledging all we’ve been through, and seeing the big picture of our life’s journey is the path to putting our experiences into perspective, allowing us to give our lives meaning and purpose, moving forward. It may mean healing and dealing with struggles we’ve had. It may
mean getting focus for what matters.

Here’s the quandary: How can we expect to gain an understanding of our life’s purpose without allowing ourselves to see the grand design that has brought us to this point? The musical’s journey calls that collecting the “forever moments”. How will we ever be able to envision our future or leave any kind of meaningful impact or legacy unless we recognize the incredible underlying continuity or connection behind
our life’s journey? The quandary is we may never get to that self-reflection.

As I Recall F()REVER’s vulnerable look at tragedy and loss is balanced with life’s paradox of break-throughs, love’s triumph and personal victories, it quickly begins to have the listener recall their own episodes, to assemble flashbacks into deliberate details.

Mullin comments that the narrative and music primarily aimed to serve adults in the author stage of life, who after some success and challenge are able to question their situation & purpose to ask “How can I go from ambition to greater purpose”.

“It’s my story.” Mullin explains, “I am a really good bad example to learn from. I also am a survivor and in so many ways blessed with what became a reasonable life to have gratitude for. Yet, my story can apply to anyone at any stage of life, young or old, rich or poor, believers or spiritually curious or those that see creativity and inspiration as something that makes like meaningful.”

As I Recall F()REVER has 5 Acts of life stages, with 13 episodes that cover a range of the emotional roller coast life can be. Each episode running around 20 minutes has 2 song scenes with narrative.
