The 2016/17 season at The White Theatre offers a little bit of everything for everyone.
Arts + Culture at the J will present 9 incredible shows for the 2016-17 The White Theatre Season and ticket packages of 4 or more shows are available now.
Coming off the very successful run of Mary Poppins, The White Theatre gears up for a funny, often intellectually challenging, occasionally provocative and always inspiring 2016/2017 season! Enrich your year by joining the all new, expanded Arts + Culture department at the J by becoming a White Theatre season ticket holder.
Season ticket holders not only receive quality Broadway style productions but The White Theatre continues to bring the best artists from the metro area and beyond. Some highlights from the upcoming season include:
- Grammy award winning, Kansas City Chorale, will bring their high caliber, choral artistry to performing “Shirim Yehudim: Music of the Jewish Tradition”.
- Open Stage at the J inaugural dance showcase will feature Kansas City’s premier companies including, Kansas City Ballet II, City in Motion, Kacico Dance and many more.
- Highly renowned visiting artists including the standout performance from actress Susie Wall in Becoming Dr. Ruth and Broadway legend, Jana Robbins, in her cabaret production I’m Still Here.
- New artist in residence, Kinnor Philharmonic, will ring in the new year with the lighthearted music of Strauss and special guests.
- Tony award winning productions including Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard and Neil Simon’s Lost In Yonkers will take the stage as part of the 4 show exquisitely-produced in-house productions.
Patrons can continue to create their own subscription package by picking 4 or more of their favorite shows. There is a variety of performances to choose from theatre, comedy, choral music, dance, along with a healthy addition of special events through the year.
Season Ticket Packages begin as low at $60 and offers savings up to 30% percent of regular ticket prices.
