IBD Promotions is a division of Images by Davenport, LLC., founded by Keith & Wanda Davenport. IBD Promotions promotes and manages five shows annually at The Pavilion at John Knox Village in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. All five events provide an outlet for artists and craft vendors to display and sell their handcrafted items.
Keith and Wanda are outdoor and wildlife photographers and have been selling their images at art shows and festivals around the country for 23 years. As artists, they know what makes a show an enjoyable experience for both the vendors and the customers who attend — clean, pleasant ambiance, quality products, and happy people.
The first show in 2022 is the Raspberry Spring Expo on March 11 and 12. More than 100 booths filled with items that you will enjoy. Some of the items you will find are wood, metal and fabric art, books, photography, baked goods, ceramics, pottery, jewelry, candles, home party products like Tupperware, and much more. View some of the vendors work on their website.
IBD Promotions also selects a not-for-profit organization for each show to raise awareness and community support for organizations that are close to their heart. One Good Meal is the non-profit for the Raspberry Spring Expo. For nearly 20 years, One Good Meal has been delivering meals to Lee’s Summit shut-ins and the elderly. Monday through Friday volunteers bake and deliver 100 to 150 meals to those in need. Donations can be made for One Good Meal at the show and enjoy the freshly baked goodies at their Bake Sale.
Raspberry Spring Expo will be open from 10:00 to 7:00 on Friday, March 11 and from 10:00 to 4:00 on Saturday, March 12. The venue location is The Pavilion at John Knox Village at 520 NW Murray Rd., Lee’s Summit, MO. It’s free admission and there is a concession stand with seating available, so plan to make it a day.
Mark your calendar for these community events and plan to visit these talented artists and crafters.
