Tickets to Prismatic: Kemper Gala 2022 are on sale, beginning today. For more than 25 years, this fundraiser has played a key role in ensuring Kansas City has access to world-class contemporary art and programs for all ages and abilities—all free of charge.
The 2022 gala theme celebrates the full spectrum of life and the alchemy that emerges when you join your community with your unique qualities and individual perspective. Through a prism, one appreciates the dazzling array of color that is always present within a beam of light.
As always, Kemper Gala is a party! There are no speeches or auctions, just fantastic cuisine, dancing, surprising entertainment, and great art.
On view during the event is the newly unveiled commissioned installation, Pepe Mar: Rising Sun, the museum’s seventh annual Atrium Project, and Five Years and Counting: Expanding the Permanent Collectiona look at acquisitions over the past five years, and A New World: Women to Watch, a group exhibition of five local women artists in Kansas City.
