Maker Faire Kansas City celebrates things people create themselves — from new technology and electronic gizmos to urban farming and “slow-made” foods to homemade clothes, quilts and sculptures. This family-friendly event demonstrates what and how people are inventing, making and creating. It brings together Makers, Crafters, Inventors, Hackers, Scientists and Artists for a faire full of fun and inspiration. Maker Faire Kansas City is an event guided by the staff of MAKE Magazine and the Maker Faire, and is organized by Union Station Kansas City and Kansas City-based organizations. It is not a Maker Media event. Our goal is to bring together Makers, Crafters, Inventors, Scientists, Artists, and everyone else for a faire full of fun and inspiration.
