The Lyric’s “Cruzar la Cara de la Luna” Infuses Opera with Mariachi
Like many Kansas Citians this time of year, the Lyric Opera went south of the border, with the first ever mariachi opera: “Cruzar la Cara de la Luna” (“To Cross the Face of the Moon”).
In February, as KC Studio went to press, Whim Productions presented the world premiere of “Kissing in the Grocery Store” by Denver-based playwright Claire Carson.
