For 25 seasons, the Kansas City Women’s Chorus has been a vital artistic and community presence, bringing collective voices together through music shaped by justice-centered artistry with social impact. Founded in 1999, the Chorus has grown into Kansas City’s only regional women’s chorus, recognized for musical excellence, inclusive values, and programming rooted in connection, representation, and shared responsibility.
On May 15 and 16, 2026, the Chorus marks this milestone with a special anniversary concert honoring its shared artistic legacy. Featuring meaningful works from across the ensemble’s history alongside music that reflects its current artistic voice, the performance celebrates the relationships, creativity, and collective commitment that have shaped the Chorus over twenty-five seasons.
Audiences are invited into a performance experience that reflects the power of collective voices raised together over twenty-five seasons to challenge, to affirm, and to carry this work forward together.
