The seasonally enclosed outdoor deck and open patio with its fountain and Plaza view, the chic main dining room and Starlet Lounge, and the unique upper level private event rooms provide amazing settings for a “glorious” dining experience.
Trio’s culinary creations, overseen by Executive Chef Leon Bahlmann, including offerings for Lunch [Mon – Fri 11 AM-2PM], and Dinner [7 days a week], represent an array of world cuisines meshed with a contemporary American style. Whether lunch or dinner, the extensive list of menu items are all made with painstaking care from the highest quality ingredients – local and farm fresh when available – and presented with flair and elegance. It’s hard to make an error in choosing from such a wonderful array of items that feature fresh seafood, pastas and what are arguably KC’s Best Steaks, hand cut and prepared to perfection. But be sure to ask about any Chef’s specials off the menu – they are just that – Special!
The lunch menu may be one of Trio’s most overlooked treasures. There are multiple sandwich items, from the amazing Tilapia Club [pictured here], a fan favorite, to the not-so-humble Steakburger, served with house-made sweet potato fries. Of course, you wouldn’t want to overlook the crisp, fresh salads or small plates either. It’s good to have choices, right? But whatever mouth-watering option you choose, it’s sure to please; as will the prompt and speedy lunch service.
Trio boasts a modest, carefully chosen list of fine wines, numerous beers on tap and bottled, as well as classic and creative cocktails. One can pair these easily with the fresh cuisine to transform a meal into a culinary dream or just sit, relax and enjoy them staring at the sunset on the deck or sharing a night on the town with good friends. Trio’s ambiance, with jazz piano five nights a week and tasteful displays of local art is perfect for your dining needs.
