This June, Heartland Men’s Chorus Kansas City proudly kicks off its 40th anniversary season by taking its mission on the road with Do It With Heart, a high-energy concert tour celebrating four decades of music, love and LGBTQIA+ visibility.

From Missouri to Kansas, HMCKC is bringing its message of unity, acceptance, and pride to the communities that need it most. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-time listener, this is more than just a concert—it’s a movement.

“This tour is about more than singing,”  “I hope that people in the audience take away the message that there is a whole, beautiful, amazing world out there that is affirming and life changing,” says Tenor 2 Jacob Horton.

Throughout June, the chorus will stop in Springfield, MO; Lawrence, KS; Topeka, KS; Manhattan, KS; St. Joseph, MO; and Wichita, KS—leading up to two powerful performances at Yardley Hall in the Midwest Trust Center at Johnson County Community College on June 28 and 29.

“I hope that some people who aren’t so sure how they feel about the queer community at large will come along, too, and find their hearts softened witnessing our joy and authenticity,” adds Bass Benji Crow.

So bring your friends. Bring your family. Bring your full self. And Do It With Heart.
