KCAC 28th Annual Benefit Art Auction

:SOMETHING NEW FOR THIS AUCTION!
KCAC’s Annual Auction has been a success for years. For this, the 28th year, we are changing things up a bit. As you all know Julián Zugazagoitia, Director & CEO, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, is the Honorary Chairman for the KCAC 28th Annual Benefit Art Auction to be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011.

He has also graciously agreed to collaborate with KCAC and create a very special package for the Auction – Lunch and a private tour at the Nelson-Atkins. The winning bidder will receive:

  • You and up to 9 guests can participate
  • You will share a private tour led by highly respected Museum curator Jan Schall, the Sanders Sosland Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Museum
  • The group will then be treated to lunch in Rozzelle Court
  • Julián Zugazagoitia will join you for lunch!

This is a priceless auction item. Think of getting to know Julián and being on the inside track as he shares his initial impressions of the Kansas City art scene, his hopes for collaborative engagement with other members of the Kansas City art community, his ideas about the Museum’s collection and direction, and maybe even some of the ground-breaking initiatives he’s considering.

Come to the Auction and bid on this exciting package.
