Linda Hall Library presents The Jazz of Physics: Quantum Improvisation, June 22 at The Folly Theater

The Linda Hall Library, in association with the American Jazz Museum, presents, The Jazz of Physics: Quantum Improvisation. For the first time on stage in an ongoing collaboration, NEA Jazz Master “Big Chief” Donald Harrison, a New Orleans-based saxophonist, and theoretical physicist Stephon Alexander explore their theory of quantum improvisation. The duo will be joined by composer and bassist Santi Debriano and special guest and KCK native Bobby Watson for a night of jazz and its poetic link to the universe.

This event will be held in person at The Folly Theater, 300 W 12th St., Kansas City, MO. The program is free and open to the public, but advanced registration is required. Click here to register.
