New Downtown Library Opens April 29!

Celebrate the opening of the new Downtown Library on Saturday, April 29 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Festivities include a ribbon cutting ceremony, live music, face painting and more. The multi-story building, located at 260 E. Santa Fe, will total 46,600 square feet, and will feature a large flexbox space, a café, numerous meeting and study rooms, a rooftop terrace, and a special Olathe history collection. 

In preparation for the opening, the Temporary Downtown Library (1078A W. Santa Fe) closed permanently on February 26. A return box will remain available at the temporary space through the end of March.
