March is a great time to get out of the house and start thinking about spring projects. This art and craft event will lift your spirits and help you prepare for warmer weather and outdoor living. Admission is free and the facility is clean and comfortable. Over 100 booths filled with items that are one-of-a-kind. There are many new vendors and the facility is full, so there will be plenty of fresh items for you to enjoy.
The Pavilion at John Knox Village is the perfect location for art and craft events. It’s all on one level, with clean surroundings, along with easy access and parking for customers and vendors. Its architectural design is a landmark that is inviting and spacious. Sanitation stations are throughout the facility for everyone’s safety.
More than 85 art and craft vendors will have a wide variety of products. You will find wood art that includes wood turning, bandsaw work, wood carvings, and CNC signs and wall décor. Fabric art is another hand-crafted item such as quilts, bags, clothes, wreaths and even dog scarves. You’ll also find metal art, books, photography, baked goods, ceramics, pottery, jewelry, candles, home party products like Tupperware, and much more. One Good Meal is the beneficiary for the Raspberry Spring Expo. One Good Meal is a not-for-profit incorporated organization dedicated to providing hot meals to seniors and home-bound regardless of income. For nearly 20 years, One Good Meal has been delivering meals to Lee’s Summit shut-ins and the elderly. Monday through Friday volunteers bake and deliver 100 to 150 meals to those in need. They will be hosting a bake sale at the Raspberry Spring Expo.
The show will be open from 10:00 to 7:00 on Friday, March 11 and from 10:00 to 4:00 on Saturday, March 12 at the Pavilion at John Knox Village at 520 NW Murray Rd., Lee’s Summit, MO. There are concessions and seating available, so bring your friends and family and spend the day browsing and shopping.
