In 1976, Jan Weiner launched her career by hanging a one-man show for Ron Slowinski on the walls of her Topeka home, and the rest is mid-west art history. In the three decades that followed she opened a second gallery in Kansas City and represented dozens of regional and national artists, building relationships and a collection of her own along the way. Her collection will be included in Friday evening’s online only auction session and Saturday’s live in-person auction with live telephone and Internet bidding options along with live auction attendance complete with free food and drink.
