Ty Herndon Performs Live at the Folly October 23

Grammy-nominated, Dove award-winning and multi-platinum Country artist Ty Herndon will perform live at the Folly Theater on Friday, October 23rd at 8 PM.  This concert will feature 20 years of his country hits as well as the KC debut of music from his soon to be released album “House on Fire.” This first full length concert in Kansas City in over 7 years is not to be missed!

A master of the ties that bind Recording Artist Ty Herndon has the ability to connect with an audience far beyond his onstage performance. He has a passion and commitment to his music that shows in his lyrics. “If I haven’t lived it, I haven’t sung it” as Herndon says. With a career spanning two decades with 20 Billboard chart songs and 5 million albums sold, Herndon sees no signs of slowing down.

His career has produced more than four million in album sales, a Grammy nomination, Dove Award and multiple No. 1 singles on the Country charts, including “What Mattered Most,” “Living in a Moment” and “It Must Be Love.”  Among Ty’s nine studio albums and 17 charted singles are the Top 10 hits, “I Want My Goodbye Back,” “Loved Too Much,” “A Man Holding On (To a Woman Letting Go)” and “Hands of a Working Man.”  Herndon will debut a new full-length album later this year.

Over the last few years, Herndon has maintained a busy schedule; splitting his time writing and recording a collection of new songs while also touring around the United States to perform shows.  Ty co-wrote and co-produced every song on the forthcoming album “House On Fire and DJ’s around the country are already loving what they’ve heard, leaving comments like these:

My favorite iconic voice of the mid-nineties is back with a vengeance. “All Night Tonight”[one of his new releases] features that amazing voice in a 2015 package! Love it!  Gets in your head and doesn’t leave! A must for your play list!  -T.J. McIntyre of Q104- Kansas City

“Same great vocals & production that you’d expect from a Ty Herndon song, but a brand new reinvented sound.  This is a perfect fit for my station!” –Tonya Compos of GO Country in LA.

Throughout his career Herndon has also reached out to make a difference, using his celebrity power for the better good. He is in the planning stages of a new coalition called RALY (Rescue A Life Y’all) to help save lives and raise awareness for those with addiction or identity issues. This June, Herndon made history when he hosted the first-of-its-kind Country music event, titled The Concert For Love and Acceptance. The event, designed to bring attention and support to at-risk youth, received national attention from Boston Globe, Rolling Stone, Entertainment Tonight and more.
