Good news, Kansas City. Stellar Image Studios has teamed up with Vine Street Studio Art Gallery to introduce the town’s most innovative new art event.
Vine Online is a virtual art exhibition showcasing underserved local artists. The goal: to connect them with collectors, at a critical time when other popular art shows have been cancelled entirely.
“Where other venues saw roadblocks, we saw opportunity”
Who better to create a virtual happening? The highly successful On Stage with SIS music concert connected performers with the Kansas City arts community like never before. Video is the best way, the only way, to keep that momentum going.
Gem Cultural and Educational Center and Vine Street Studio Art Gallery president Pat Jordan is inspired by the concept of a women-owned video studio partnering with a minority-run, not-for-profit gallery to fulfill a strong and growing demand for local art. “We are confident,” she says, “that artists and art buyers alike will embrace this new event.”
Vine Online premieres October 22, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. on Stellar Image Studios’ Facebook Live and YouTube channels. Register here for this FREE event, and your name will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift certificate to a local restaurant.
Vine Online is backed by the community’s most prestigious arts organizations, including The Missouri Arts Council, The National Endowment for the Arts, KC Studio, The Links Incorporated and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated XI Tau Omega. Organizers are seeking additional sponsors. Sponsorship gives you a host of rich benefits – and another opportunity to spotlight your corporate identity … in the very best of company.
