Barn Junior, a theater youth program of the Barn Players, for youth in grades 7th through 12th, will present the musical ALL SHOOK UP featuring the songs and music of Elvis Presley – get ready to snap your fingers and tap your toes to some 25 of Elvis’ greatest hits in a high energy, very funny, stage show. Rated PG.
ALL SHOOK UP takes place in 1955 in a small middle America town as a mysterious, leather-jacketed, guitar-playing, stranger arrives and helps the small town discover the magic of romance and Rock and Roll music. Songs include Heartbreak Hotel, Love Me Tender, Don’t Be Cruel, Can’t Help Falling in Love and of course All Shook Up.
ALL SHOOK UP is directed by Jason Coats; the cast includes: Tyler Armer, Rachel Arsenault, Peregrine Belding, Renna Burt, Aryn Christian, Alyssa Hoedl, Lori Hoedl, Shae Lee, Amy Meiring, Austin Palmer, Adam Segura, Jason Shipps, Mia Smith, Dylan Thompson and Grace Wood.
The show plays Friday evenings Jan. 11 and 18, Saturday evenings Jan. 12 and 19 at 7:30 with Sunday matinees Jan. 13 and 20at 2 p.m. at the Barn Players Theatre, 6219 Martway in Mission.
