Helzberg Hall | Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts
It’s time to join THE KANSAS CITY JAZZ ORCHESTRA for a spectacular big band celebration of great songs from the ‘horn-based’ rock band era. You’ll hear new arrangements of some of the greatest hits that dominated ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s popular music charts: CHICAGO; BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS; EARTH, WIND & FIRE and many others. Even “AFTER THE LOVE HAS GONE,” there’ll be horns-a-plenty and feet a-tappin’ in Helzberg Hall!
In a recent article in KC Studio magazine, KCJO announced that Bill Champlin would be the guest artist for the 3.3.17 concert. Unfortunately, due to health issues, Bill Champlin will not performing with The Kansas City Jazz Orchestra. We hope Bill has a speedy recovery!
