Explore the diversity and culture of the Historic Northeast during the International Taste and Tour September 10th. The Northeast area of Kansas City, one of the original suburbs of downtown, featured some of the wealthiest movers and shakers of KC. Starting in Columbus Park, then moving through two additional historic districts visiting their restored Queen Anne and Victorian homes.  In Pendleton Heights, home of the largest medical school in the state of Missouri and celebrating 100 years, the Kansas City University. And in Scarritt Renaissance enjoy the scenic by way of Kessler Park that was recently added to the National Register of Historic Places that encompasses the Kansas City Museum on Gladstone Boulevard, formerly known as Judges Row. Also during the tour discover various highlights of the International Marketplace and the future home of Paseo Gateway. Get a chance to experience the Independence Avenue Community Improvement Districts’ beautification efforts in conjunction with Parks & Rec and KCATA.
