Spamalot first galloped onto Broadway in 2005 from the team of John Du Prez and Eric Idle, from the legendary troupe of Monty Python. The musical comedy lovingly ripped off from the film classic, “Monty Python and the Holy Grail,” has everything that makes a great knight at the theatre, from flying cows to killer rabbits, British royalty to French taunters, rubbery shrubbery, and of course, the Lady of the Lake.
Spamalot features well-known songs such as “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life,” “The Song That Goes Like This,” “Find Your Grail,” and more that have become beloved classics in the musical theatre canon.
The original Broadway production was nominated for 14 Tony Awards® and won 3, including Best Musical. Since then, the show has been performed in more than 10 countries worldwide, delighting millions of fans across the globe. In 2023, the revival at the Kennedy Center made its way to Broadway, earning another Tony Award® nomination along the way.
