Art of the Arrangement Opening Reception Success!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the opening reception of “Art of the Arrangement” last Friday! It was a lot of fun to see everyone enjoy each other’s company and learn more about Heather Lowe’s art process and collection of work.

In case you missed it – Lowe discussed her trademarked Alchemy Art process where she mixes minerals such as peridot, beryl, tourmaline, and any precious and semi-precious gemstones into each painting. Each stone or mineral has its own unique properties regarding the energy it emits. Lowe takes special care when choosing materials due to this. Lowe received her degree in gemology from the Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica, CA and loves sharing her knowledge with others about the interesting properties these minerals hold.

With such special ties to the earth in her work, Lowe decided to take that a step further by inviting the finest floral designers in the area to pair an arrangement with select paintings from her collection. Last Friday, Lowe explained that the official final pairings will be revealed at the closing reception March 25 – let us know if you’ll be there by RSVP’ing here.

If you missed the Opening Reception – don’t fret! The Art of the Arrangement exhibition will be on display until March 31 with the Reveal Celebration on March 25. We invite you to come familiarize yourself with Lowe’s work and grab a free stem prior to the closing reception – the gallery is open Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 10am-5pm.
