This summer, Opera in the Ozarks invites audiences to Inspiration Point Center for the Arts – a breathtaking mountaintop venue located just five miles west of historic Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Running June 26 through July 24, the 2026 Summer Season will feature 22 Mainstage performances along with special musical events throughout Northwest Arkansas.

Now entering its second full season inside the organization’s new state-of-the-art theater, Opera in the Ozarks continues to offer audiences a one-of-a-kind experience that blends world-class performances with the natural beauty and charm of Eureka Springs.

This year’s season showcases an exciting repertoire performed by a company of singers and professional instrumentalists from across the country. Mainstage productions include Mozart’s beloved comedy The Marriage of Figaro, Bernstein’s witty and adventurous Candide, and Puccini’s emotionally rich double bill featuring Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicchi.

“Our 2026 repertoire offers a compelling blend of comedy, drama, and musical brilliance,” says Nancy Preis, Opera in the Ozarks General Director. “From Mozart’s masterful ensemble writing and Bernstein’s sparkling wit to Puccini’s deeply moving and beautifully contrasting one-act operas, this season showcases the range and emotional power of opera at its finest – while providing our artists with rich opportunities to grow and shine.”

Mainstage operas will rotate throughout the season with evening performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 3 p.m.

Beyond the Mainstage productions, the season also features several special events across the region. Guests can enjoy the always-popular Chamber Music Concert on July 21 at Inspiration Point, as well as a Broadway Cabaret dinner-theater event on July 18 featuring company members performing musical theatre favorites in a relaxed and festive setting.

Since 1950, Opera in the Ozarks has served as one of the nation’s premier training programs for emerging opera talent, launching the careers of performers who have gone on to sing on some of the world’s biggest stages. Today, the organization continues to attract rising stars and acclaimed musicians from across the country while enriching the region’s cultural landscape through accessible and inspiring performances.

Whether you’re a longtime opera lover or simply looking for a unique summer experience, the 2026 season offers something for everyone — from comedy and romance to powerful drama and Broadway favorites — all set against the stunning backdrop of the Ozarks.

Tickets for the 2026 season are on sale now and are moving quickly.
